Gmc Light Bar

Recommended Posts

Anyone find a clean way to install a light bar on the front of the sierras yet? I know rough country has nice solution for the Silverado but I haven’t seen anything for the Sierra yet...

looking at the front end this morning and see a couple potential fastening locations, though they are higher up on the grille then ideal...  looking for ideas!

Basically I cut a 34 inch aluminum L bar and mounted it with self tapping screws to the two lower air dam supports. I then ran L brackets with holes in it from the light to rest on the aluminum. Self tapped the two together for each side. It doesn't have to line up perfectly as the light side is adjustable. I did ensure the aluminum support bar was level. 0791057978df589a0b7140764c54a937.jpg7ab010e4f7a107d865f455607efbe2dd.jpge424240cee44898dd7f848af76ca50a1.jpga3b436153712391e5b5f03ac88cab2a8.jpg

Well,. I ended up not wiring to the high beams. I purchased a 12v 433mhz remote control relay from Amazon. Wired the light bar to it and it to the battery. Programmed the homelink button to the remote like a garage door opener. No wires needed to route through the firewall.
