Hyper flash on left turn signal

I have a slough if issues with my truck but I just wanted to start off with this one. I seem to have a hyper flash on my left turn signal but only when the headlights are on. When they are off the flash is normal. I checked all the bulbs on the exterior and interior and none of them are bad. It seems someone spliced the wire so I took it apart and started switching the wires up to see if that was the issue and no luck. I did however notice then when I’m connected to a trailer and my headlights are on that it goes away. So maybe a bad ground? I’m lost. I replaced the headlight selector switch in the truck. Been doing research and may think it’s the flasher relay or the signal selector. Any help is appreciated considering this is a rather annoying issue. Thanks.
