I installed the OBDgenie kit on my 21 Silverado LT Z71.  It was easy to install and works like a factory unit, except that the traffic information doesn't work. I called their tech  line and they said I should call my Sirus XM people an give them my radio number. The Sirus XM people said they could not install the traffic software because the radio was not a navigation radio. Subsequent attempts to contact OBDgenie have not been successful.

I had the same issue. Traffic information would not show on the maps after activation with OBD Genie. I upgraded my radio software (manually through a USB thumb drive) and traffic now works.  I had noticed that my radio wasn't picking up the over-the-air update. I had to use TIS2WEB to download the updated software to a USB stick and do a manual update.

How did you get access to TIS2WEB.

There are a few good tutorials on YouTube that cover how to sign up and configure your PC, etc. You could also ask your dealership to update the radio software to the latest version.

I have an old change coming in a few weeks,  ROMs is my number one opportunity.

Back on the TIS2WEB,  there is not cost or proof of a certified repair shop ( needed to sent to GM) to have access?

I am experiencing this same issue.

2021 Silverado LTZ z71 with iOS radio. I have the OBDgenie, and Sirius told me to have the dealer upgrade the radio to the newest version, then they can add this feature.

I am also experiencing issues with no volume when the HD radio is activated. If I de-activate the HD radio option, the music plays again.

can anyone help with a resolution
