Back rack

Looking for some pictures of back racks added to the 2020 hd

I'm looking to get the original backrack with cover adapter but want to get a idea of what it will look like before order as I might get it custom built

I saw yours and like it but won't work with my retrax powertraxPro
I'm more looking for the "backrack" original backrack mounted to the Chevy or GMC 2500 to see the height so I know where my lightbar will sit

If u could snap a picture from front and rear roof height compared to rack height is what in looking for

Well, took two tries, but UPS finally delivered the base today.  Here are some pics...I have a tool box, so I snapped a few before I moved the box into position.  Road trips with 3 GSP's and launching a boat at early morning necessitate the lights...lol.  I used the "fit my truck" on the BackRack site and found the part numbers on Amazon....cheaper shipping with Prime.

So if I'm seeing that right looks like the top crossbar is dam close to level with the roof line

Can u see the tips of the rack standing in front of the truck

Trying to figure out a height for the new bar

Does the rack mount by a bolt thru the bracket now...(inside the bed)
Vs the nut style as they did 5 years ago

Mine uses a bolt with nut welded to a plate.  It goes inside the stake bed with a huge bolt into the plate and the horizontal base bolts to it.  Here is the link to their tonneau cover adapter:  https://backrack.com/tonneau-cover-adaptors.html

So I got my custom made back rack cheaper thru backrack then if I bought a stock one off eBay

 

Got all the lights mounted and wired now I just need a truck to mount it on

Check out Rocky Mounts.  Been around a long time.  You can order online or through REI or Amazon or RackOutfitters.

I've used the Bolt On track with a lot of success.  It allows you to put any fork mount into the slot with a track/square nut.  Very versatile.
