diagnosing Park Assist problems

Seems like lots of problems with PA.

1. The first one - my owners manual says "the PA indicator light will come ON to indicate the URPA system is OFF". ( light On = system OFF ). The GM site says the opposite -( Light ON = system ON ). which is it ? confusing. It seems like my manual is correct. Anyone agree ?

2. with the system at DOA - how to diagnose the problem: is it one bad sensor, all of them, no power to rear bumper, a fuse under the hood ? any ideas ?

Right now i get park assist disabled on my dic. Watched a couple videos and guys took a microphone to the sensor when the truck is on and in reverse. Should here clicking.

I saw that microphone thing too. Tried it with my iPhone - no clicking. I think the whole system is off, so I'm not surprised.

No amber lights come on. Only the red one, indicating I'm in reverse. How would you start to diagnose what is going on ?

I dis the phone thing too. No clicking. 8m at a loss. When i press the park button it flashes multiple times and goes off. When i get a chance shes going to the dealer

Heres the update. Dropped the truck off for inspection, oil change and have them look into the problem. They said that i am getting a bunch of hmi codes because i deleted the factory radio. I get in the car to go home and everything works, go figure lol. Think they reset something.
