Mr Vee
Did not see a real detailed explanation of how to install the rear liners so I decided to make a DIY for others that may want to do it. 1. Lift up the back seats. If you don't have the storage box underneath you won't have to do any cutting. You can just put the liners in. In my install I wanted to leave as much of the liner as I could and still install the storage box. The drawback is if I ever want to take them out for cleaning I will need to remove the storage box. 2. Remove the jack, jack holder, the bag the holds the lug nut wrench and one screw holding down the drivers side corner of the storage box. It's a big torx screw but I removed it fine just using a flat blade screwdriver. 3. Lift out the storage box and install the liners. 4. The drivers side will not require any cutting. In the picture above, you can see how they designed it to go around the jack mounting bracket. When you place the storage box back in place, the lip will keep the box from being flush with the liner. Here is a top view before any cutting to give you an idea of how the lip causes the gap. 5. Using a utility knife cut the liner as shown. 6. Reinstall the storage box. Here I have installed the jack bracket. I may do some additional trimming where the liner is visible for a better fit. Here is how the storage box now sits on the liner. The are instructions included with the liner where to cut if you prefer to have the liner not go all the way back. Some people have left just enough to go under the lip of the box. That would make is easier to remove if needed. Here is the drivers side. I decided not to put a hole in the liner to reinstall the screw. It sits pretty flat and the lug jack bag will keep the box in place I believe. Here is the part I did not see until I looked at the pictures. On the passenger side it appears the carpet got pushed down and there is now a gap between the trim and carpet. Will see what additional trimming I may need to do so it sits correctly. Maybe I just tightened the jack mounting plate more than I needed to. Edited February 15, 2020 by Mr Vee
bobbobtar
That's pretty much what I had to do when I installed the Du-Ha storage box so that it would sit down on the mat.
