Neighbor hit one this fall with his squeaky new GMC and man, what a mess. Took forever to get it fixed too. Same corner as this fella and pushed the drivers door back far enough to tweak the B pillar almost into the bed. Deer are tough going down. His stayed on it's wheels thought. :)

Looks just like mine did in October. Because of the GM strike, it took my body shop until the end of December to get parts. They did a great job getting it back together though. Can't even tell anything happened.

I remember when I lived in Colorado and had friends hit an elk, it was like hitting another car.....no joke damage they can do

 

we came around a corner at windy point on hwy 285 and there was a 6 or 7 point elk just standing in road, that thing was so friggen massive!..stopped traffic and it had like fuk all you I aint going anywhere look in his eyes, no body hit em but jeez the size of that thing!....I am not a hunter so I had no idea....I was in Toyota tercel and its belly was as tall as roof....
