Adding power-folding mirrors that are not the larger tow mirrors.

Hey I've been searching for info on the feasibility of adding power folding mirrors to a Custom Trailboss.

I would not chase this if it were subjectively prohibitively expensive for me to do it.

All the search phrases and terms I can think to use are returning a mountain of info and threads on the tow mirrors which are larger and that's not what I'm looking for.

It was my understanding that there was a regular sized power-folding mirror for the T1 trucks.

Is there a previous discussion about this that someone can point me towards? I would greatly appreciate it. I'd assume that maybe I might need harnesses and the correct instrument/switch assembly for the armrest in addition to the mirrors.... but again I'm ignorant hence the search.

It's not my intention to complain that my truck did not come with them.

I'm happy with the truck I bought. I'd like it if I could add this option for what I think is a reasonable cost.

I'm not interested in discussing whether I bought the 'right truck' or not. Thanks! ?

I really want a RST for the looks, but I'm looking for a LTZ specifically so I can have power folding mirrors.  My 17' will not fit in garage without folding them in

I just joined this forum and am desperate for some help. I just bought a used 20 RST to replace my 14 LT. I did not realize when I bought it that the mirrors are 2.5 inches wider than the ones on my 14. My driveway is between a 5' tall retaining wall and my house and is about 95" wide. I used to get through easily by just folding in my drivers mirror, but now I have to fold both in. I really would like to add power folding mirrors and the dealer said I can not. Has anyone figured out a way to do it.

No.  No upgrade path other than buying an LTZ or High Country (Chevy) or SLT or Denali (GMC).

The trucks themselves as a whole are wider, its not just from the mirrors.  Body width and overall width of the 2014-2018 trucks was 80in body width, 95.04in wide mirror end to mirror end.

The 2019+current trucks are 81.24in body width, 97.5" mirror end to mirror end.

For those wondering… DEZ power folding mirrors are standard on Silverado 1500 trims LTZ, High Country, and ZR2 for 2022(refresh) and 2023, not available on any other trim.

For Sierra 1500, standard on SLT, AT4, AT4X, Denali, and Denali Ultimate in 2022(refresh) and 2023, not available on any other trim.
