LED bulbs in Cruise control

Hi I have a 2001 GMC 1500 sierra and I’m having trouble with my cruise control. I think the problem is and I don’t know if anyone else has had this problem but recently I changed all my bulbs to LED bulbs. And on another post I read that somebody said that if you have a brake light out sometimes the cruise control won’t work on certain year Trucks. So I was wondering if anybody had this problem as far as maybe the LED bulb itself will prevent the cruise control from kicking in? Thank you
