I have no idea of this where I need to be or not but this is only one that would let me actually print something I just joined. The question I have is I have a 93 3500 with a 454 dpi TPi.  I’ve owned the truck for 25 years and I recently bent the frame and the one that good on the truck is the cab and the motor and tranny in the rear end. I also have a 98 GMC with a Vortech 454 in it. I just purchased a 93 3500 that has a perfect  bed and front clip jump cab and a blown up diesel motor. So I’m gonna put my 93 original cab on this chassis pull the diesel motor and tranny out it goes back to the original owner. Now my 93 454 with TPI  I put a jet chip in it back in 95 and it runs like a raped day everyone makes fun of these motors in this forum but mine runs like a bat out of hell to get second gear scratches almost every time. Now that Jack chip keeps running lean so the inside the motor is like brand spanking new on my 93 but all I do is read about everyone says to go to the vortex I’m trying to do the swap in a timely fashion and all the wiring on that board deck I really don’t want to move so can I take the Vortech motor take the intake off put my throttlebody intake on it and put that in  running all the TPI shit that up to the 93 cab? Because actually there’s hardly any wiring and I could do that swap easily in a day but if I do this for tech swap holy shit there’s a lot I should switch over. So what I’d be money ahead to rebuild the Vortech that way up hydraulic roller cam I took put my TPI intake on and run my throttlebody until I can afford a sniper or something like that? I don’t know if I can even find how to get back to where I’m at right now but if I don’t get back no one hears back from me: please someone text me or go to my Facebook please. I’m very serious about this I need to do it now within the next week I don’t know which way to go if I’d be better off with a Vortech motor with the throttlebody on top until I can afford alternative fuel injection or if I should just stick with my 93 for 454 with the TPI on it.
