Vasa1
Has anyone changed their cabin air filter? I can remove the glovebox but on the left side of the box there is some sort of pivoting lever.
BlancoSilverado
Yes, you drop the glove box down, you can remove the small "shock" by disconnecting it on the left side. then there is a flat panel that comes off and the filter is right in there. make sure the arrow on the new filter is pointing down. I had a mold smell.
Vasa1
Guess I should have specified that I have a 19 Sierra. That shock u mentioned, is there a certain way it goes back in?

HapaTrailBoss
If you accidentally pulled the damper apart like I did (doh), it easily reattaches, you just have to align the black circular clip and push. After 20k miles and 12 months of use, my cabin was filthy.

Yeah only takes like a year and the thing gets pretty bad, i only put around 10k a year on my truck too so those of you with 25k on the clock with a year old truck it's time to change it imo.
