4l80e diagnosis transmission 1998 c3500 4l80e no 2nd gear

hey trans guys! lost 2nd gear in my 4l80-e...scanned and pulled p0271and changed all solenoids and fluid while i was there...no change...any of you brainiacs help a head scracthin’ bruthu out?? thanks in advance, paul b

How many miles (can make a difference). 

Any mods.

what happened leading up to the lost of 2nd?

is it slipping in second or is it not shifting into second?

Have you tried to manually shift into second? what is it doing?

210k...did some heavy pulling right before it went out. Just went drove again, manually shifted and went to second and was slipping...didn't seem to down shift to second either...this is behind a 6.5 turbo... what u think?? thx

time for a rebuild?  200k is a decent distance for the transmission, particularly for a truck that tows heavy..
