I added a 30" single row straight Rough Country black edition light bar. Had to cut the vertical (x4) grill posts. As of now the mounts (x2) worked perfectly mounting to the grill (horizontal post) and the active grill shutters are functioning properly. I used a Micro 2 fuse adapter. It is a shame GM lets their headlights be so dim. The blackout spots are horrendous in a deer populated area.

That looks good RedLT nice install! I did something similar cutting (2) of the vertical grill posts to get a Baja Design S8 light bar flush to the grill without any interference to the active grill shutters.  I connected the S8 to the GM Upfitter switches I installed.

I ended up purchasing the vehicle specific in grill mounting brackets for the GMC Sierra and Baja Design S8 light bar that are made by Wicked Warnings. https://www.wickedwarnings.com/product/s8-grille-bracket-for-19-up-gmc-truck/
