New rubber on the 03 rado

Went down yesterday and put some more suitable tires on the farm truck .

Finally dumpped the crappy stock Goodyear wrangler s/t P 235-75-16s

 

 

Here they are cooper discoverer m/s 245-75-16 load range e

Most importantly they are LT tires not P s

I was looking at some Eagle alloys and BFGoodrich LTs for the Ranger, but the tab came to $860, so it will have to wait until I actually have an income (unless I get another truck, sure as hell not going to put tires/wheels on a truck I'm not driving).

How do you like them so far?

 

I've heard they are good for snow...especially ice.

Ive only put about 50 miles on them so far but they seem to grip a little better in loose dirt also they make more noise going down the road

Good choice.

I have the Cooper Discoverer MT 285's on mine and I had them sipe them even more then what they had and have had good tracktion in slick conditions.
