The tip is real nice. I wound up tacking it on but it does come with a clamp. Like I said before, fit, finish and quality are top notch!

One nice thing about this system is the ability to use a different muffler with ease as it uses a 3" straight in, and straight out.

The muffler is 24" long 8" thick and 12" wide so a JBA 40-302201 or a Flowmaster 70 series and the larger bodied Magnaflows will fit. May have to use a short extension pipe but that's it.

I took my own advice an tried a Flowmaster 70 Series, supposed to be close to "stock sound levels". Not even close, It might actually be loader than the Corsa muffler! I don't know what it is? Maybe there is no sound deadening in the cab? I'm sure it sound fine outside. The sound is just loud, deep and horrible inside the cab. The DFM isn't helping. It alternates between being followed by a train or a helicopter. I wish I just handed over the cash to my wife and never bought any exhaust. It would have been way more satisfying!

I would suggest the 24" magnaflo to you guys wanting a mild sounding exhaust, especially if you want performance. I have seen dyno numbers on identical truck with magnaflo vs flowmaster. I ALWAYS run magnaflo whether it be on my wife's tahoe or my supercharged 6.2 or my old supercharged 5.3.

2020 AT4 5.3, I cut out the flapper and muffler and just have straight pipe put in. Sounds amazing I just hit 1k miles but I love it

I also on the fence about changing the muffler. Have the flapper clamped open and the tailpipe screens tapped up. Sounds just right to me. But if I were to try one I would also go with the Magnaflow. Had one on my last truck. Waiting for this one to become available.
