I like my truck.

Recommended Posts

My rear window hasn't leaked yet, my brakes haven't failed, my interior isn't falling apart. 8 months and just shy of 9,000 miles into the ownership experience, the only problem I've had was the SD Card glitch in the Nav system. Happened once and hasn't happened again.

I'm happy with my January 2019 Ft. Wayne built Sierra Crew Cab.  :hitit:

I can't be the only one who's truck isn't a total piece of crap, can I?

My truck is awesome except for the occasional transmission jump when I'm trying to inch my way into parking and I just joined the rear window leak club at 6,000 miles on the dot. The rear window leak scares the hell out of me.

Good to hear brother. .  They are solid trucks and when you sell 700-800k of anything you are bound to have some issues. Its normal .  I just hate it when people say like Ram has so many issues when every truck maker has issues. No one is perfect .  My 19 Denali with the exception of rear window leak which was fixed one time and no more leaks has been good too.  I only have 6k miles on mine since im over seas with business half of the year and it sits most of the time but no complaints. Wife loves driving it from time to time . Although she always gives me the " Its so hard to park" lol .

My response is ...Back it in honey , you will be just fine.. lol

Knock on wood, and anything else I can find.... My 2020 AT4 which has just over 3,000 miles on it has been great! It's a 9/23/19 build from Mexico.... LOVE this truck and I hope those issues don't come to haunt me.... time will tell....

I completely agree. I have 2500 miles on mine and I really like it. No issues. I too am tired of seeing all of the complaints, which really represent a small minority of owners. I owned another brand before moving to GM, and I’ve got to say, the online community is a big difference. Not much pride of ownership over here.

I still like my truck too.

Multiple software updates, trailer brakes freaked out and caused a CEL/service ESC etc in the cold, four trips to get the rear window leak and the rear top light leak fixed.  Brake recall caused a Brake System Failure but I was parked.  Got the new update for that today.

Honestly this truck has been a piece of crap.

Still like it though.

I was just reading this thread and read about the window leaking problem and just remembered oh crap it's raining and I forgot to put a towel in wedged between the back glass and headrest because my window does leak and I'm waiting on a replacement. Lol.

I have a 6.2 10 speed truck and really really like the way it drives rides and looks. Not wild about the window but things happen.  My biggest complaint so far is the limited availability to tune. But that's just because I can't leave thing stock.

NO problems here with a Lansing build '19. At 4000+ miles  everything is A-OK.  DFM/8 spd is a lot more responsive than my previous '19 AFM/6 spd.

A little bit of a rough ride until the suspension settled in, but a world of difference spinning around on paved back roads just for fun. Low profile high performance less aggressive pattern 22"s handle much better in high speed turns especially in wet weather than the former '16 Z71s 17" knobby tires.

No window or any other leaks including the tonneau covered bed..

7k on late build 2019 Silverado RST and all is good....love the truck, seats are bit firm and thank god I got power seat in drivers side cuz they are really really low and plugging in the phone for android auto kinda sucks (should be Bluetooth).....but its running flawlessly so far and have no issues as far as it working properly

yeah... but do you have a sunglass holder!? ?

If you mean the same overhead sunglass holder on my previous '16 about which dozens of posters on this board complained that it was a joke because too small to properly fit their  sunglasses? The answer is no.

But the tray on the top of the '19s dash hold them just fine and can keep them readily available and in view while driving AND the "saddlebag" pockets on the sides of the center console work just fine for accessible out of sight storage.
