Looking at the new 2020 Silverado with 3.0 duramax, I live in Nevada and have found a few units with Federal Emissions sticker, but I have also found units with Calif Emissions stickers.  I'm tring to find out just what the difference is between the two trucks.  I have gotten answers all the way from; "just the sticker" one more OX sensor in the exhaust system, different Cat converter, etc. but they all also say "I think" so nobody is sure.  If there is someone that has this information that would be great.  I'm sure its more than just the sticker, I'm also sure the Calif emissions is more restrictive that the Fed, but not sure if it will make any difference in the performance of the truck, etc.\\

Thanks Hercules.

Not sure the difference.  But if it were me I would stay away from any vehicle that was produced for California if I didn't live there.  Basically if it does have a different emission system then that is the main reason since the emission system is the problem child part of a diesel vehicle.
