GM production in North America has not been affected due to parts shortages caused by plant shutdowns in China or elsewhere, the automaker also confirmed.

Yeah I wonder how that affects current orders not technically accepted, ie. 1100

I found one or two more potential options but they are out of state. Since incentives change tomorrow and I wouldn’t be able to be there today (out of state) nobody really wants to talk pricing since it’s irrelevant. So I now have to wait until tomorrow to see what new incentives are then they said to call them back.

Also, does anyone know if I can use GM Supplier pricing that my gf is eligible for through her employer? My new employer doesn’t have these perks.

She has the authorization number from the supplier website but I’m not sure if that’s tied to a specific person, and obviously don’t want anything coming back on her.

Just looking for any extra bargaining chip

got a call from my original dealer this morning, with somewhat of a real update. This manager is one I haven't spoken with before today.

He said he looked into the order and saw there were a lot of errors showing up on it as far as how it was configured. Not so much on the options I chose but on the way they entered in the system I guess?

While I was on the phone with him I believe as he went through the order screen I followed along through the build feature on the website to make sure all the options I wanted he was selecting correctly. I believe he placed a "new" order, not editing the original. He said he'll give me an update tomorrow as well as Thursday to let me know if the order was actually accepted. So we'll see.

Part of the issue is the manager I original worked with left the company a couple weeks after my order was placed so since he was on the way out he may of not done a good job entering it correctly. Who knows, I'll never know.

I'm still looking for similar trucks in stock in different states but will keep this order open as a backup plan in the meantime since I'm not tied down to it at all.

Since manager's have changed I need to confirm they'll still honor the pricing originally agreed upon. I have emails showing what we talked about so I'm going to send another email so I have a "paper" trail.

True, all I have is an email between them and I that they would honor their dealer discount at the time of my original order + whatever GM incentives are available at time of delivery. So not signed in writing per se but at least some form of agreement I'm hoping they don't back out on.

I plant to bring it up again once, IF, I see the order at a status of at least 2000.

Hoping I take retail delivery by 3-31.  This is great news for me.  :)

That's awesome! Your TPW was/is this week correct? Keep us posted on the progress! So exciting for you!

I had the dealer send me the new order Workbench from the new order they placed yesterday, they had the interior color wrong (can they do anything right?) so we got that updated today and send me the updated workbench. All the options look correct. He says he'll know this Thursday if GM accepts the order so we'll see.

Today I also brought up the pricing that was originally agreed upon previously via email. He didn't believe me on what THEY had posted on their own website from January when I originally placed the order. ridiculous. I forwarded him the previous emails and asked him to confirm they will honor what was originally promised which was their dealer discount PLUS whatever GM incentives are valid at time of delivery.

of course he didn't. lol....hopefully you can just find one and be done with this horseshit....march has typically been a good month to buy....if I were in your shoes I would be willing to go just about anywhere to pick one up.....be a nice road trip back home

its almost like you have to hire a third party to make sure the ****ers who are suppose to know what their doing DO THEIR FRIGGEN JOB!..and deduct that from cost as well.....they don't seem to have problem hashing numbers every which way but loose in most complicated manner possible but listen to customer and order a truck, OMG how simple a task that is....you should be getting more off the truck for headache they've caused you.......discounts are only gonna get better from here on out....the longer it takes the cheaper they will be

Yeah honestly I wasn’t surprised at all. Oh look, somethings wrong, what’s new haha.

And yeah I found one literally 2000 miles away! Trying to get Laura GM to do a dealer trade since it’s close to them and they have epic pricing.

And I know! It’s crazy that I have to keep such close tabs on every step they make. Can I get a paycheck out of this!? I’m basically managing their entire staff and helping them and informing them how it works.

When I brought up pricing they said “don’t worry we’ll figure it out” uh yeah I am worried and yes we will figure it out, right now! Now a month from now.

why a dealer trade?....just go there and buy it....

they'll figure it out whats good for them and rest assured they are banking on you've waited along time for this thing to come....idk if I would be comfortable with that, and when it does come in your emotions come into play....they know this....what are you gonna do, walk away after you've invested almost 6 months into this thing....I don't like that at all.....are you stuck in this deal?
