I think they are a pretty decent size dealership, I wouldn’t consider them small at all.

Mine was at 'event code 3000 - Order accepted at production control' last week when I got my order workbench printed. Hopefully they get you sorted out soon.

Thanks me too! I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt so we’ll see.

The only thing I can think of is that one of the options I selected (dark essentials package), which is just black emblems on the sides and tailgate, is no longer shown on the Chevy website where you can build your truck. So perhaps they don’t have it anymore?

But then again if they didn’t have it anymore I’d think they would update me with that info.

I cant see any option taking longer than another unless they don't parts in stock......they are custom trucks either way you look at it....the factory doesn't care where the truck is going they only know what to build based off the sheet they are given, isn't it 6-8weeks to get a custom truck?.....that's what I was told

if you order something you don't really care about it comes early, but more you do care it takes friggen forever and every possible delay happens....

the issue also how many people have to make it happen....and there is a lot of them ordering a car/truck

its why I don't special order from home depot, too many moving parts.....in this case you have no choice

smoother the transfers go from one to next the quicker the process......say one guy orders and gets good people on his end and another order gets people who don't really care on that end.....can really change outcome a bunch seeing how these things have multiple players.... and everyone will pawn it off anyway when delays happen so well never know what really happened.

but it will come, and youll forget all about the process.....in fact it will make it even better!

I talked to my sales lady again asking for an update from her manager. Granted she's pretty new so I'm trying to be patient with her, and I know how it can be trying to relay info when you don't have a great understanding on a specific topic.

But, according to her, apparently the delay is due to the engine option I chose. I chose the duramax diesel. So this makes me even more concerned because it's hard to believe the duramax is on short supply at the factory and I bet they are pushing those out like crazy.

@XY74 and @Sask Farmboy - you guys both ordered the duramax correct? and I believe you both have TPW's.

@cdnSpinalTap and @Sniperdan - What motor did you guys go with? Do you guys have TPW's yet?

I ordered it with the Duramax Diesel and my TPW is March 2 (I have checked a couple of times and that is what they keep coming back with).

I have enclosed my order workbench so you can see if there are any other options that may be different.

I also ordered the Diesel so that cannot be what is holding you up. My TPW is also March 2

Same here, diesel. Also checked my order status on Friday again just in case and they are sticking with TPW of 3-2. What else did you order on yours?

Thanks guys! Yeah I dunno what's going on anymore, I'm going to call them again tomorrow hoping for a different result (pushing towards the definition of insanity over here hahaha)

Other than the dark essentials pkg and sunroof there is nothing in your order that is not in mine (although mine is GMC AT4 long box) so I can't see what would be holding up at least getting a TPW.

Looks like we are getting nearly identical trucks. Except mine is long box AT4 vs standard box Denali. Also, I opted for no sunroof and a standard tailgate but otherwise they are pretty much the same. Great colour choice by tge way.

I reached out to the dealer again today, the manager that has been "looking into this" is now apparently out until Monday. So I asked them to see if someone else can look into it, we'll see.

I just want a real update. even if it's "we dropped the ball and x, y, z...")

Last night I even started looking for any in stock units that fit my options. Found some trucks pretty close. One truck was VERY close but didn't have the roof marker lights. I think that would be an inexpensive part to buy but I feel like it'd be better to have that installed at the factory instead of trusting a dealership to drill/cut through a new roof.

its not the diesel motor....common sense.....corona virus maybe but not diesel motor

on high end trim to boot, most are Duramax... most custom orders are diesels

almost positive somebody screwed up somewhere.....

maybe if you could find one in stock be great
