TB Fit in Garage

Recommended Posts

There is not standard in garage height.  If you do measure your opening, make sure you measure from the smallest spot.  Sometimes the entrance has the floor angled a lot and sometimes the bottom of the door is below the header when opened.

Level drive to garage here with a standard height door. Think that is 7 foot. My at4 fits just barely. Go test drive one and take it home to test fit.

Not sure id totally recommend this. Taking home a test rig and returning it with a large scratch and dent in the roof might not be smart.  Id go measure one sitting on a dealership lot.  As stated, all garages can be slightly different and when we're talking about an inch of clearance, I wouldn't try it.

Steve with the garage flex of the week

Not what it sounds like. It's an old raised ranch built in 66 with a 2 1/2 car garage, has an 2 1/2 car addition to the back of the old one making it a 5 car with the Master bedroom above the addition. The back area is more workspace.

Well dont run it in to the roof. Thought that was pretty obvious. Have someone help or just pull up an inch at a time.

I sure hope so! I measured before I ordered my 2020 TB LT and my garage is 7' at the door by 8' wide and 20' deep. It's going to be tight. My stupid garage has this piece of trim that arcs across the door header, so it's about 6'8 closer to the edges. I'll probably be good if I keep towards the center of the garage. Go slow, stop when it sounds expensive. I guess I'll know in a couple of weeks if it fits. Oh well, I plan on moving next year so a garage with a 8' door is definately on my list!

You probably count the basement in the square footage of your house too.

A raised ranch doesn't have a basement, lower level is at grade.
