• We had a storm yesterday.  I had about 60 trees down.  Two hit my house and one my truck.

Looks like the frame is bent as well by the way the whole truck now has a dip in the middle. Some heatin and beatin and it should straighten right out. Lol

Wow. That sucks. I hope your house faired better than your truck. The truck is easily replaced. Obvious total in my opinion.

You would think frame wouldn’t be that easy to bend. But  it looks like it did.

If frame is ok then you need a complete cab, doors, etc. Seems like they would total either way.

 

On the other hand. I’ve seen a lot of damage fixed.

 

Insurance takes the least costly way out. If they want to fix Then make sure you get a depreciated value payout.

I agree with those that this truck is finished and I believe it is a potential candidate for Junkyard Empire.  Andy and his employees would add fresh paint and wheels and make a huge profit!  I love that show!  I am particularly impressed with how well the truck held up under the weight of the tree.  If there was a passenger/driver in the vehicle at the time it would have been be a horrible experience but survivable.  Thank God there was no one onboard!
