Camper Top and Rear View Mirror Camera

I have a 2020 on order and plan on putting a camper top on it. The dealer has never ran across this and called the top mfg. to no avail. Anyone done this and kept the RV mirror camera functional?

I'm waiting on my A.R.E. camper shell to come in. I don't see anyway that the rear view camera will be able to be used. It's in the 3rd brake light assembly. I don't use it now so it's not going to bother me any to not have it.

my rear view camera is on the tailgate…..kind of confused on this one.

I think you're referring to the backup camera. What I'm talking about is the camera that is connected to the mirror in the middle top of the front windshield that you look at as you go down the road. This is only on models with the technology pkg. if I'm correct
