Started preparing to install a Rough Country hidden winch plate on my 2017 Silverado.

first thing I test fit the inch on the attachment plate ( good thing. Cause ,y Runva 11000 lb winch didn’t fit. Had to trim 1/4” on each side of the plate to allow the winch to sit properly on the plate

Both sides had similar contact points so a couple minutes of work with a disk grinder and everything is sitting properly and the winch is boldted in

no more time to work on this for now. Will probably drill the holes in the frame for the attachment brackets tomorrow weather permitting

Ended up upgrading the stock plastic “skid plate” with a set of the aluminum ones that o threw a few Coats of rattle can Bedliner on the truck. Hope I never need them but glad they will. E there to provide a bit more protection compared to the plastic ones.

Stumbled upon your truck on here, the rims looks like pro-comp rockwells series 34 Good looking truck.
