Did they say why the code? Does not make sense to get a code through your license plate lights?.

They did not say. I understand where you’re coming from, I’m just repeating what they told me during the week long stay there trying to get the back up camera system fixed.

Backup light bulbs are an easy install, but this thread is about license plate light bulbs.  And they're not that easy to install.  Especially if you have large hands, like I do.

My comment about install was for the license plate bulbs. The photo i shared was for the backup lights (oops it was late and I wasn’t paying attention)

Put the bulbs in today. Lasfit T10 off Amazon. Not 100% sure what all the hub-bub is about, took less then 5 min to install. Sure its tight but I found the two hand method of getting the light in and out of the socket worked best, just a FYI for all of you thinking of doing the swap.

I picked up some Sylvania Zevo 2528 LED’s locally from Auto Zone. Took just over 5 minutes to install. Yes it’s very tight and takes some contorting of your body and arms/hands to get the right angel, but no big deal at all.
