Leaks around overhead light panel

I have experienced some leaking around my overhead light panel during a heavy rain storm. The water dripped onto my center console and has stained the headliner. Any ideas on how to fix? It's a 2016 Silverado 2500HD Z71 package with 70k miles.

This has been mentioned many times before and I had this happen to my 2016 Crew Cab. You most likely have a leak coming from your shark fin antenna. When mine happened, they replaced the antenna under warranty with a new one that was supposedly redesigned. This was done about a year ago and so far, no more leaks. But even the replacement has come with mixed reviews with some having the leaks return.

I had a leak from my 3rd brake light not to long ago. I used bath tub sealant to fix it.

The shark fin antenna appears to be tight, but the center light panel on the roof has a gap around it. Any thoughts on how to remove it or seal it?

Even if shark fin appears to be solid, it still probably has a leak around the gasket. You will probably have to remove the headliner to access the mount for the shark fin.

I think that shark fin is accessible by removing the visor on the driver's side. I'll look into it for sure.
