Seat Bottom Heating Element 2014 Silverado part Number

Recommended Posts

Help please. I recently replaced the heating elements / cooling thingys in my driver's seat and all is working fine. I need to replace the seat cushion element on the passenger side but NOT the seat back. I still have the boxes from the parts that I bought but didn't keep track of which was which. they are 23223775 and 23170194.  Does anybody know which is for the lower cushion?

Common problem on the trucks. I had to replace both drivers and passenger side cushion heater's on my 14 Sierra with less that 40,000 miles but out of warranty. Cheap heater mats. Gm paid 40% of the repair after I contacted GM customer service. They know there is a problem.

Did the 23170194 also do the passenger side because online it says it only for the driver side. I have to do all 4 of mine.

23223775 is for the seat bottom- either side. Before you take the seat apart, plug the mat into the connector and turn the heater on to be sure that’s the problem.

Is it hard to replace them? Mine in my 15 don't work. Also where is the canecter located to see if it's plugged in good.

Yes that is for the seat back but the seat bottom is what I am talking about 23170194 will it do both seats because it says it’s only for the driver seat

Just dig under the seat for the matching connector to your new heater pad. Passenger side is easier to find.
