How long will the 2019s be on the lot?

First welcome to the forums!

You may luck out but I don't know because the inventories have really dwindled in the last couple of months..

Thanks! I'm afraid you're right. Fingers crossed.

You will be rolling the dice at that point, not only on inventory, but also rebates and incentives.

In April the 20's will be getting "long in the tooth", and they will be inclined to start moving them in preparation of the 21's being on the way, so they may only have incentives for 20's and not 19's.

I feel like by that time, you’re getting down to the colors and options that nobody really wants. Already the case around here.

There was a lot of 2018s hanging around throughout the spring of 2019, but I think that’s because they were lame ducks on the old body style. A shopper deciding between a ‘19 and a ‘20 has an easier call because they are basically the same truck, the ‘19 is just a hell of a lot cheaper.

well some dealers still had new 18 models when I bought my 19 in august so

Are you sure that they were actually 18s? The first half of the year there was 19s that looked like 18s and went by the name Silverado LD, due to GM not being able to reach full capacity on the 19s to keep up with the demand.

And they were still building 2019 double cabs with 2018 style sheet metal long after the 2019 crew cabs were available.
