8 Ball Shift Knob

Recommended Posts

here's something else i've done that i haven't seen done lately. i bought an extra shifter handle and had a friend of mine who's got a cue and table business add a regulation size 8 ball to it.

I did the same thing to my Old 93 Sonoma, now since I sold it I put it in my 65 Impala. You probably made out better than me. Cost me $11 to buy the eight ball. Simple to install to, just drill out the 8 a tad smaller than the shaft size and sefl thread on. It has a nice feel to it too. :nono:

that install won't work. i tried to do that actually. the original shift knob doesn't unscrew. it is molded on. i pretty much had to rip, cut and do a lot of yanking to get it to come off in pieces. when i tried to put the original 8 ball that i had on it, i managed to break it in half. i figured that maybe i should get a pro to do it right.
