Now that you mention it the gun metal (black chrome) may look better and match the rest of the truck’s specific color trim. It already has red tail lights so that may be too much red in the back.

Red exhaust tips are what I would expect to see on a ratted out Civic with stanced wheels and a fart pipe, no offense.

Matte black, or matte grey would be good, stealth, clean...

If it were my truck, I would get the matte black paint made for gas grills or something...  Will hold up to heat, and hide scuffs and takes 3 seconds to touch up from time to time...
