Issues with Auto Lights not allowing me to dim.

I have just purchased a 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4.  Recently while driving at night or early mornings, my truck will not allow me to dim my lights. I cannot figure out how to turn off the auto/bright/dim. I can sometimes get the auto symbol to go away but then it comes back on by itself. Then when it should be bright it's not but when it should be off it comes on. People are always flashing me and I don't know what to do to turn it off. Does this sound like an error, a sensitivity issue or what?

You can turn off intellibeam via the button on the end of the turn signal stalk and it should stay off until you turn it back on. I have noticed a few bugs with the system, not quite to the extent you’re talking about.

Many people think your normal beams are high beams since they are so bright (at least my GMC ones are!)...  

 

But yes, the button on the end of the turn signal/wiper stalk will turn off intelibeam....
