I’m no grease monkey, unless I’m changing my own oil, then things get messy but fun. Sent from Above A lift is an quantifiable additional factor? Time to change your screen name to TXTOOL. These LT tires weigh a heck of a lot more (mine are 64 lbs. a piece vs. thirty something pounds stock). Plus the aerodynamic changes from the increased height of the lift, plus the weight of the lift + components + new tread pattern and shape etc... Lots of factors at play besides the simple math that you are talking about. Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk That's not what TXTOOL said, he said "Btw folks, modified and or lifted trucks require much more engine oil protection as the engine works harder with bigger tires and taller trucks so not only has GM said OCI’s are to be made sooner (5K miles) in stock trucks but it’s more extreme wear on our engines too. Just food for thought!" It's all a load of crap and just regurgitated garbage from the fool.

Let me start off by informing you that since you’ve joined this forum you’ve done nothing but criticize others for not agreeing with your thoughts. I was going to refrain from responding to your comment but after getting off the phone with the GM of a major off road truck/Jeep company, he said you sir are an idiot! Ok, we’re all entitled to our own opinion but you’ve made zero contribution to this thread other than criticize and now name calling. Hmmmm, you remind me of someone that was kicked off sometime back and being the time you joined, it all makes sense. But in all honesty, why don’t you inform us all what exactly is your contribution to this thread, other than attacking members with lots of experience?? KARNUT
Sure you did. It's ok for you to admit that you are incorrect and just embellishing to try and rationalize your use of Amsoil. Amsoil is good oil that’s been documented. Lifted trucks or modified trucks do create more work from the engine again documented. He’s even listed other oils that are good oils as had others. You made points about your options. So what’s the beef. Now the name calling. You have words, he’s provided pictures of his mods and work being done. Also articles, research and breakdown of oil analysis. You just name calling and opinion. You need to do better.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TXGREEK
Sure you did. It's ok for you to admit that you are incorrect and just embellishing to try and rationalize your use of Amsoil. I’m never incorrect, as I’ve already said. re-gearing doesn’t fully take the stress off the engine on a lifted truck, I’ll leave it at that. Jglew82
Just check the site, there are hundreds of pages of this subject, most times ending with fights between members (gets pretty funny along the way). And another self fulfilling prophecy comes full circle [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Never even a hiccup, smooth shifting, holds up well to extreme temps and motors spinning anywhere from 10k-16k RPM... It meets all the requirements in the manuals for Aprilia, Ducati and Triumph...
