Remote Start Heated Seat option

I just went through the manual and found no mention of the outside temp needing to be a certain temp for it to activate. Just on or off in the personal settings.

Well, there is a temperature threshold.  When it's below a certain temperature, the heat comes on,  When it's above a certain temperature, the ventilation fan comes on.  There is a temperature zone where neither comes on.  This assumes you have both features activated in the settings menu.  After all, who wants a warm seat when it's 115° or the ventilation fan going when it's -15°?

I get that. But there is no threshold to determine what temp your seats come on at.

I think they remote start warmed seats come on at the same levels, no matter the temps. Whenever it's colder out, however, it's not going to feel like they are working as hard as when it's warmer, but still cold. I've noticed that.

They feel a lot warmer when it's 40º vs. 25º.

My 2020 Sierra SLT seats and steering wheel do not come on automatically ( not speaking of remote start)  the truck seems to have almost every option . My wife’s Cadillac xt4 knows when it’s cold and everything comes on and goes off automatically. I see no option on the infotainment screen to allow this. Does this feature only come on a particular option group?
