McGaughy's 10"

Recommended Posts

anybody have this kit installed yet? What do you have it set at and what wheel/tire combination are you running and what kind of rubbing? Why does everyone on here run BDS over McGaughy's? And what shocks/struts are you running? That thing with a set of coilovers looks like the ticket to me, but I'm not super familiar with half ton lifts but don't want to be bolting some garbage on my 50 thousand dollar truck. Thoughts?

It would look good with different wheels/tires. I like less rim and more tire. Put on some 37's on 20's 10-12 wide and it'd look badass. Agreed though, that looks dumb with the squat and non-functional wheel-tire setup.

I agree I meant no disrespect but this trend with the tires hanging a foot out of the wheel wells is horrible. And the squat I don’t get it leveling fine but why would you want the back dropped down at all. Hey it’s not my truck lol.

Oh no question. You mine as well have flashing poser sign stamped on your forehead. People pay a lot of money to have their trucks look like roller skates. But I've always thought that these trucks needed at least a 6" lift. Just would want big tires and small 20 or less rims to fill out the wheel wells.

10" lift with some nice coilovers, 10-12.5" wide beadlocks and 37" or 40" tires and a re-gear and to me that is the best one of these half tons can look, just haven't seen it done. Would love to see some pics of that setup and McGaughy's and Cognito are the only two companies I'm aware of that manufacture a lift "kit" that size for these trucks...

I totally agree with you idk maybe I’m old school I guess. What happened to your own look and style. Honestly it seems most just follow the current trend. And I say that because this truck we’re talking about with that setup would it see off roading I think not. It’s setup because thats the trend. That’s just my opinion.

No, the truck is ugly. Didnt say make his truck look like that one, just showing the 9" cognito lift. They make quality kits and i have never had an issue with any of their suspension gear i have ran in the past.
