Dirty pig looking for trash receptacle for inside truck cab

Recommended Posts

Just got a brand spanking new Silverado and want to try and keep it cleaner inside than my previous Silverado. Any suggestions for some kind of trash receptacle? I got used to throwing my trash (occasional fast food, junk mail, whatever) on the passenger floorboards but that looked bad whenever I had the rare passenger. I think I would use a trash bag of some sort if I could reach it and empty it often enough.

When I'm on the road for work I also accumulate bags, wrappers, cups, etc. I just got in the habit of emptying out everything at the end of the day. Also, pretty much everywhere I stop for fuel or restroom breaks has a trash receptacle nearby...

You could put any kind of cardboard box you want on the passenger floor with a small trash bag liner if you want a trash can that fits. My wife gets free cardboard boxes delivered from Amazon nearly every week!

Why you gotta call the guy an idiot, you never throw something on the passenger side and then pick it up later when you are done driving? Geez...

Thats why Weather tech floor liner is there lol

I either do that or use the door pockets to throw out gum wrappers or receipts and such. Im sure nobody throws a half eaten rotisserie chicken on the passenger side floor while driving.

Walmart,Meijer any dollar store bag???? Then trash it....

You could, but you lose the "wow factor" of a fancy garbage bag.

Or like it was said before, just clean up after yourself, your mom is not your driver!

And welcome to the site, any info about your truck you would like to share?

Do what everyone else does. Throw it away. ?️Don't be a slob.

I really have to question someone that asks something like this.

How did you make it this far in life?
