Installation of grill lights

You can use a fuse tap right on the parking light circuit in the fuse box in the front of the truck.

Fuse 34 is what you want to tap into.

You will have to cut a notch in the box. On the right hand side so that the wire doesn't get pinched.

Make sure you add an inline fuse headed to whatever you are trying to power.

I ended up using fuse 42 to tap off of, right parking lights vs left, because the fuse tap I used had clearance there. I included a pic of the fuse tap I used and the lights I installed.

Awesome thanks. How’d you mount them?

I used a 1” aluminum bar from Homedepot drilled it to fit the lights. To mount I used some 1/4” x 1 3/4” flat head screws and some fender washers, they fit perfect in the plastic grill pieces.

I’ve been wanting to do this and bought some bolt lights a while back.  Would you mind posting a couple of close up pics of how you mounted the lights/aluminum bar to the grill?

Here is a couple of photos. I bolted between the horizontal supports in the grill. The 1/4” bolts fit perfect with fender washers.
