I used 295/65-20 because I tow, 35's dont have the load rating that the 295's have.

My 295's are rated 4080# each, and are a 35.1" tire

This will be my first truck once it comes in but am I missing something.  If the max GVWR is 11,350 wouldn't the 35" KO2s with 3195 still be able to handle more than the truck can?  You are still 1,430 pounds over max GVWR.  I was planning on the 35x12.5x20 but could always go with the 295/65/20 that has the 4,080 pound capacity.

I got some general grabbers mounted up last night. Based on all of the questions here about what size tire will or will not fit on these trucks I thought I would post these pictures. I am super thrilled with the way that it looks, not sure if the pictures will do it justice.  The truck is completely stock besides the tires and they fit fine, no rubbing at all.

I have the General Grabber ATX 325/60/20. They rub slightly at full lock.

My 3500 is 12100#gvw, my pin weight is 3200#, I have scaled the truck several times.

4080# tires are what is needed to carry the load

Yes but everything that I have seen has said that GVWR is truck, passengers, and tongue weight combined.

This is my current dilemma...

I want to go with the 35x12.5 on the stock 20" rims, but want to make sure the tire is rated properly.

I have heard I should be getting 12ply or the 'F' load rated tires

I have the 3500 desiel, and don't want to handcuff myself by not being able to tow to the full potential.

Any of you guys who tow running the 'E' rated tires?
