Painted my Z71 and RST Emblems

I looked for a while to find a aftermarket z71 and RST emblem I liked and couldn’t find anything. I pulled all 3 off with fishing line and was surprised the red plastic can be separated from the chrome. I used a Dremel tool to remove small tabs that hold red plastic to chrome plastic.

Then shot a few coats of black and clear on red plastic. Then put it back together using a  2 part adhesive on tabs.

Lastly, I applied 3M tape to stick them back on truck, wasn’t bad project and Only cost was paint.

Does the red 

Z71 logo come off the same way?

Never mind looked again and saw the pic with the Z71.

Yeah, you don’t have to grind much with dremel. Your just removing a little glue around tabs.
