Post LIft Alignment issues

Recommended Posts

So, I added a 2" upper spacer from motofab and a rear 1.5" spacer.  It looks perfectly level though the back end is 0.5 higher.

The lift massively jacked up my alignement and I had ESC warning lights going off.  I had it aligned at NTB and the lights when away, however it did not feel right.  It had a bit of tendency to pull right, but overall it felt okay otherwise.

I had it rea-aligned by NTB and they changed all the settings.  Now it steers pretty straight, but almost too straight.  The wheel wants to recenter to the point that it takes more than normal force to turn.  Its not crazy high, but it is more than a 2019 truck with power steering should be.  When you let go of the wheel in a turn it rapidly recenters.

Does anyone know what specs I should actually be setting this truck to?  I looked it up and there are like eight to ten different alignment specs for the T1.  Not sure if I should be using trailboss specs or the stock specs.

I knwo the trailboss calls for an update to the power steering force after installation.  Could this be my issue?  I had no issues at all with my 2014 with billsteins.

Thanks

Would the 2” lift that GM sells have the right specs or get u closer? After my install, I went to dealer for software calibration and alignment. They used specs from lift kit, but it doesn’t list numbers on install page.

Maybe.  I'm not sure what to use.  I theory this should he the same.  Those TB struts are doing effectively what this kit is doing.  They driveshafts shouldn't change alignment.  I'm pretty sure the upper control arms are the same.
