Quick question on downshifting...

Yeah, I that’s what I figured. When I get to the crest of a long or steep decent, I have been slowing down a bit, manually downshifting the column and just letting that gear hold my speed unless I’m towning, then I will creep and downshift into 1. 
 

Driving a stick for 20 years!
