in op reverse lights and camera

hey everyone. Iv got a gmc sierra 2500hd. it came with the backup camera. For roughly a month if I put it in reverse the camera does not come on and my radio screen say to service backup camera. After working on this problem I found out my reverse lights don't work aswell. so put the vehicle in reverse I have no backup lights and camera. Iv checked the fuses for the reverse lights and anything related to the camera all fuses were good the I checked. Iv replaced the camera, the trail light module under the rear of the truck and still nothing. Was wondering if anyone had this issue and could possably help me out. thank you In advance.

I had a similar problem which was diagnosed as a shorted out LED reverse bulb.  I had replaced them with LEDs and apparently not good ones.  Replaced them (back) to the OEM and all is well.
