Lower control arm mount repair

Recommended Posts

Hey, I'm new here.  I was doing a brake job and noticed that the front lower control arm bolt is no longer attached to the frame.  There is an access hole that is  seen from the front welded to the frame in the rear which is cracked. The bolt goes through this bracket, then through the bushing, then though a hole in the frame

Some more info-

The bolt is attached to a chunk of metal which used to be part of the frame but is no longer attached.  The bolt then passes through the control arm bushing then though a bracket which is cracked.  So the lower control arm is being held on by the rear bolt.  Is there a repair for this? It's scary because it's my daily drive.
