Any 2020 models pulling left?

Recommended Posts

Already got a call back that the truck is fixed and done. They admitted the tech swapped the tires left to right. So they checked alignment and swapped them in an X pattern and did a test drive and didn't feel any pull or vibrations. So they are done with it.

Ultimately the tires ended up where they should have if a front-to-back rotation had been done in the first place. They want my feedback after I drive it too.

On my 2020 AT4 2500 the steering is off a few degrees to the left. It doesn't seem pull one-way or another. It was that way with the factory 18" rims/tires and with my 7 year old studded rims/tires left over from my 2013 Denali. My dealer said that they will check on it when I bring it in for the first oil change next month. I purchased a set of set stock 2020 20" rims/tires and will put those on the truck prior to taking it in for repair. Standby for a report. Thanks,

I have the same issue. 3000 miles. Pulls to the right when braking and gentle pull while driving.  The dealer thought I might have a dragging caliper.  I drove hard and did several, at speed -stop braking intervals.  Parked the truck in my shop, lifted the front and both wheels spun freely. Took it to the dealer, he said brakes were fine, they did an alignment, the caster was off on one side a little and they said the adjustment should help. They blamed the crown of the road.  I drove off thinking it was better, but it was not.

What I have noticed is a rattle in the steering wheel when driving at slow speed, turning mostly left, over rough ground. Anyone else noticed or experienced this? I got under the truck and nothing is visibly loose.  Anyone know of issues with power steering components?

these trucks have noisey power steering units..... different system than 1500s...I already knew before purchase so I guess I expected it, but it works fine so....

The power steering cooler rattles on rough roads at slow speeds.  It is worse on the uplevel steering trucks.  There is no real fix for it.  You can help it some by making sure your high pressure and return lines are not touching at the gear.  There are hydraulic pulses that cause the cooler to rattle.

I have a 2020 2500HD Sierra SLE. Since I got it, it pulls to the right. Dealer aligned it, was still as bad. They changed the Stearing box. Was better but still pulling to the right. It it's even worse when I'm towing my fifth weel. Now they said two tires are bad and they changed them. Just got it today and I find it still pulls to the right. The truck only has 8200km (5095 milles)They gave me all sorts of explanations that don't fit right for me. As I can see in this forum, I'm not the only one with this ongoing problem. Is this a bad truck? I had a 2011 1500 Silverado for 9 years and never had any problems with it.

Anyone has idea of what might be the problem?

My 2021 pulls to the right w/ just a hair over 500 miles on it, at first I thought it was me but it is definitely the truck.  I have to hold the wheel a degree or two to the left in order to drive down the road straight.  I am headed into the dealer tomorrow to have the alignment checked.

Wish me luck!
