Odometer Problem!!!!

Recommended Posts

Welcome to this forum!  The first thought that came to mind was who "borrowed" your truck?  ?   I'd give GM customer support a call and see if they can offer any help.  I would be less motivated to get this repaired quickly if miles were going down but increased miles shortens your remaining warranty and impacts future resale. If customer support doesn't respond right away, I'd go to my nearest GM dealership and get it repaired before it skips another 1k+ miles!  I would also see if they will reclaim some of the lost miles.

First thing to do is check the accuracy of the speedometer/odometer. Easy enough to verify odometer using highway mile markers, and speed using those radar speed signs on roads and communities.

First thing I checked after dealer installed the optional low profile 22s and reflashed the BCM.
