Center console swap on the trail boss custom

Does anyone know if the center console from the LT package can be used in the trail boss custom? Why Chevy gave you no center console or storage on a full size truck is ridiculous. I just don’t see the savings on their end in that. I was just wondering if this drove anyone else crazy and if anyone has done anything to resolve it.
