Dash removal - Aux Switch Install

I'm looking for some help on accessing the section of auxiliary switches(in a custom TB) to install a few aftermarket lights.

 

 

My truck only has 4-5 buttons for options, and has space on either side like shown in the pic, for other switches, and I plan to install a ulincos push button there.

 

My main questions are;

- how do I access this section, does anyone have a step-by-step?

- does anyone know the clearances or room behind these switches, and is a switch/plug reasonable?

- any other suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated

Radio removal is fairly easy. The silver trim ring pops off and exposes the screws. Then there’s two more at the bottom, depending on your options you may have to remove another trim piece that clips in. Then pry the whole radio assembly out away from the dash with a plastic pry tool.
