TPMS sensors backwards/forward compatible

Are the 2019 sierra tire pressure sensors backwards + forwards compatible. 

 

Going to run 2019 sierra Denali 22" wheels on my 2016 Yukon. Will the 2019 tpms program to the 2016

 

Also may try the Yukon  stock 22's on my 2019 sierra slt that came with 18's.

Realize the brake caliper clearance may be an issue but will give it a try. 

Read some do, some don't.

Nope, different frequencies.

Don't think those wheels will work.  It's not just the offset but the angle of the spokes to clear the calipers.  What finish 22" wheels are you looking for? Polished, Chrome, machined?

Oh ok. I'll give it a try and report back. If not the 2019 denali 22" will go on the 2019 slt sierra 

 

I bought the Q7L 22" 2019 sierra Denali wheels. My goal is to upgrade the 18" wheels. But thought would give the wife the newer ones if I could make it work

Update: 

 

The Yukon Denali 22"wheels  don't fit on the 2019. Do not clear the brake caliper
