Parts. & prices needed

As far as parts go, a lot of shops charge a 50-100% markup on parts, so the price you see online or at your local AutoZone or Napa will be much lower than what you pay at the shop. This helps them cover potential warranty work and such.  As far as labor rates, almost every job for every car has a flat rate hour number.  Example a ball joint may call for 2.5 hours of labor, and then an alignment is needed for another hour of labor.  Some shops use Alldata, which you could purchase for your specific car. You could also call your local pepboys and ask for a quote.  It will have each job and the hours called for.  You average shop rate is 1

$100/hr. Dealer will be closer to $125/hr.

Best to find shop that will treat you right.  When I was a service writer I had customers that would only work with me, because they knew they would not get jerked around for stupid things they didn't need just to make a quick buck. This kind of mechanics do exist, but they are usually very busy. Lol

I need all 4 -O2 sensors & crank positioning sensor for original 2000 Tahoe SS w/5.7 vortec

Two questions, you know there was not a factory SS option for 2000 Tahoe's, correct?

Which body style do you have, I thought that they changed the SUV's in 2000, which would have the 5.3.

2000 still had the GMT400 style trucks.  Many were Z71 models.  Agree there was never an SS tahoe.
