2019 GMC Sierra AT4 - De-Badge

Recommended Posts

Absolutely not true. I had a 2014 GMC All Terrain and de-badged it as well. The GM dealership jumped at it when I traded it in. Had no difference what so ever on their choice to snag it.

I make the dealer take all of their junk off unless they want to make some payments for me!

Otherwise a light touch of a heat gun and it’ll peel right off. Isopropyl alcohol or goo gone will take care of any residue and then put a coat of wax over where it was.

I'm in camp de-badge. I removed the Z71 Badge (oh no, how will anyone know my truck is special) from the fender and the Silverado & RST from the tailgate. I also removed the fender badges from my Camaro and the pin-striping from my (wife's) Equinox.

I have always removed any vinyl (pin-striping, decals, etc.) I can as soon as I can. I greatly dislike vinyl on paint.

Seems like an appropriate thread. Dealer stuck their damned sticker on my truck(tailgate). How do I go about getting it off?

A little heat and you should be able to peel them off.  If that doesn't work buy a decal/adhesive wheel.  I just used one on my truck after removing the "SIERRA" badge and it worked awesome.
