Bumper Paint Code...

   Would anyone know the bumper paint code for the 2018 factory-standard, very dark grey Silverado WT bumpers? In addition to the WT's, it is also the color used on the Black-Out Edition bumpers.

 

    I have looked, researched, checked with professional paint suppliers and dealers, and nobody has been able to supply a code for an exact color match.

    Yes, l have the truck.

    Professional suppliers have tried color-matching it on-the-spot, and could come close, but not close enough. I have also looked at SEM and other bumper coaters.

    The factory color is almost a very dark grey primer color.

Unless it was repainted the paint code should be on the label in the glove box. Can you take a picture of it? I'll try and help you figure out which one it is...

    It is all factory-standard; new and no repaints. I had looked at the glove box label, but didn't see any familiar area of coding.

    But, l will be happy to post a picture.

How about the lid of arm rest or the door pillar. I can't remember where the code list was on my 14. I'm thinking the arm rest since it wasn't in the glove box...

I've been doing some reading it appears the QR code on that last picture you posted gives the RPO codes now. This is what comes up. Are you sure you don't have an onyx black truck? The 8555 at the end is a gm paint code for onyx black...

No labels in the center console. The bumper color is a solid, not a metallic. 

The body color Is 8555. That much l know.

The bumper color isn't the body color, it's a solid; very dark grey.
