I am unable to use my iPhone 7 with my 2014 gmc radio. The radio works with AM/FM radio and it displays that my phone is connected via usb. However when I click “media” it is still showing that my device is connected even when it is not connected via usb. I have hard reset my phone and tried different usb cables to unrecognized the phone from the radio but nothing seems to work. Please assist!!

I doubt I will give you much help, but you may want to read you post out loud and see if makes any sense to you.  You start off with being unable to use your iphone7 with your radio.  it shows your phone connected via usb, when you click media your phone is still connected even though its not connected with usb.  Have you tried using it with the phone connected via usb?
